This is a reading program for K-5th graders that runs September through April. Sign up any time!
Here’s how it works:
Pick up a special binder from the Children’s Department to get started.
Follow the log sheets in the binder to record 30 minute increments of reading.
Each 30 minute box will earn you a card of the creature of your choosing, beginning with an egg.
Fill out a row of 4 boxes to receive the entire mythical family!
You can earn up to 4 full sets of cards per month. Some sets will only be available one month out of the year, so keep your eyes peeled for those rare creatures!
You can color your own cards too! Once you have your Color Your Own cards completed, you can bring them back in for us to laminate.
For more information, including fun games you can play with your cards, be sure to stop in and get your binder!
