Teen Summer Reading Program

How It Works

Our Teen Summer Reading Program is for students entering 6th grade through 17 years of age.

  • For every book you read you will be asked to fill out a short book review sheet.
  • You will receive one ticket for each book review you submit.
  • Tickets will then be used for weekly drawings on Fridays.
  • All tickets will be saved and entered into the drawing for the Super Reader Prize at the end of the program.

Prize Drawing Schedule

  • June 5th: Weekly teen prize drawing at 1:00 pm
  • June 12th: Weekly teen prize drawing at 1:00 pm
  • June 18th*: Weekly teen prize drawing at 1:00 pm
  • June 26th: Weekly teen prize drawing at 1:00 pm
  • July 10th: Grand prize drawing at 1:00 pm

*Drawing is on a Thursday due to the library being closed for Juneteenth on Friday, June 19.

  • Grab bags
  • Tapple Mini game  
  • Books
  • Kings Island Tickets
  • Big Splash Adventure Tickets
  • Indianapolis Indians Tickets

You do not have to be present to win, however all reviews must be submitted by 1:00 pm.  All winners will be notified by phone or email after the drawings have occurred.

Registration and logging will be available in-person and online. We ask that you only use one method of logging.
