Town Council Vote on Library Expansion
April 16 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
619 of the Yorktown Town Council’s constituents signed our petition for a library expansion. We had an outpouring of support from you at the last Town Council meeting, where the Council voted to table the motion.
Now, we’re asking you to join us once again as the Council votes on the bond issue for our 3,000 square foot addition and library remodel.
Your voices are powerful, and we won’t get this passed without you!
How Can You Help?
1. Share this event to help us spread the word.
2. Call 759-4003 and leave a message of support for the library! Just give your name, address, and tell the Council that you support the library expansion.
3. Come to the Town Council meeting! Your support at the last meeting was a HUGE reason why we didn’t get voted down, but rather tabled. With enough support, we may just get those yes votes!
We cannot thank our community enough for your continued support. You are the reason we want to do this. Serving you is a pleasure, and we want to do so even better!
