Mission Statement

The mission of the Yorktown-Mt. Pleasant Twp. Public Library is to provide access to and maintain a variety of current materials and services to meet the educational, informational and recreational needs of the community. It is the mission of the library staff to provide courteous and prompt service to all library patrons and to promote awareness of library resources and services.

The Board of Trustees and the staff of the Yorktown-Mt. Pleasant Twp. Public Library recognize the impact of technology upon the lives of the community. So that we may continue to provide a high standard of public service, the Yorktown-Mt. Pleasant Twp. Public Library offers a variety of electronic services to supplement traditional services.
