After clicking on the link to the "Yorktown Public Library", you will be directed to the catalog where you can create your
online account. 

To create a user name and password:

1.At the top of the page on the Cataloging screen, click .    

2.Enter your last name and barcode number and click .   

3.If you have a birth date in your record, the program prompts you to enter it next. Use the menus to select the month, day, and year.

4.Enter your user name and your password, and enter your password again to confirm it. Each can have up to 50 alpha-numeric characters. (But, must be at least 8 alpha-numeric characters)

5.If you don't have an email address on file already, you can enter that also.

6.When you are done, click  

The program automatically logs in the patron with their new user name and password.

If a patron already has a user name in thier record, the message "Patron account already exists" appears. In this case, you will need to call in and we will help you.
